Can you believe Miss A is 7!

We celebrated another birthday around here. Can hardly believe Miss A is 7! She saw pictures of this cake . . .

Then from there we went to "colors of the rainbow" theme. With so many people I threw in this surprise cake.

And who can resist yummy rainbow jello. . .

Hard to Believe. . .

Hard to believe it was September when I last updated. Well maybe not that hard to believe (I get reminded all the time!).
Can you believe that this little guy turned one this weekend! I guess he has been my project to take care of lately.
We celebrated with lots of family and friends and with our monkey cake.

Happy Birthday Mr B!!

Double dose of festivals . . .

This weekend we are lucky to live on Lake Erie. Thursday night 6 beautiful tall ships sailed into the bay. The rest of the weekend they will be docked at Dobbins Landing for the Tall Ships Festival.

Tonight we get to listen to the sound of the Erie Philharmonic, watch the Brig Niagara in some friendly cannon fire, eat great food, and watch fireworks at the Erie Heritage Festival.

Birthday Girl!

Today, Miss A turns 6!

The 3rd of July we had a party with friends and family. We started the day off by going to a parade. Then party time with. . .

a hello kitty pinata,

cake balls,
hello kitty cake - using this homemade marshmallow fondant

and ended the day with fireworks. A great day!
Happy Birthday Miss A!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2010! We spent the day out in the snow. Well the kids and hubby did. I had a perfect warm seat in the Tahoe and I had the important job of manning the camera:)

We then continued working on Mr. P's "big boy" room so his current room can be turned back into the baby's room. I think we may just be ready to paint this weekend. And then more work for me moving his things and getting baby things out.
